Monday 13th February 2023  "Wodehouse In Wonderland"  By Cahoot Theatre Company Derby Theatre - Main Auditorium  P.G. Wodehouse or Plum as he is known to his nearest and dearest was trying to write the latest installment of Jeeves and Wooster. But the biographer, his wife, his daughter, and even his two Pekingese have other ideas! Based on the life and writings of P.G. Wodehouse, William Humbler's play set in the 1950s takes us into the author's New York State home.  This show starred Robert Daws recognized from Tuppy Glossop in Jeeves and Wooster. He delivered the show really well and put so much effect into this production that made the audience laugh. I thought his vocals were great as I was not really expecting  any singing in this production. This is storytelling but on his own on the stage. This production is incredible and in some parts, it was sad and emotional.    Directed by Robin Hereford, I thought it was a pretty good production because I ...

Thursday 9th January 2023 "Legally Blonde The Musical" By Musicality University of Nottingham Nottingham Arts Theatre Let me give you a little brief of what Legally Blonde is all about so it's the story of Elle Woods, who enrolls at Havard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend warner. As she  discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others. Wow! What can I say about last night's performance of "Legally Blonde The Musical"? It's a musical that I haven't seen before and can I just say it was one of the best shows I have ever seen from Musicality as last year I saw " Urinetown" and I was impressed with the top-quality performance. It was an absolutely amazing show. What a great opening to the original song called "Omigod You Guys" which made me smile. Having all the cast come on stage was wonderful, especially the LIVE Band! Liv Reid who plays  - (Elle Woods)   S hould be very proud of herself and I thought she smashed it...

"Peter Pan" by Spotlight Theatre

Saturday 26th March 2022 "Peter Pan" by Spotlight Theatre Nottingham Arts Theatre  Based on the original story of Peter Pan by JM Barrie, this was an adaptation by Amanda Hall who takes Wendy, John & Micheal on a magical journey to Neverland with the forever young Peter Pan! I have always loved watching Peter Pan pantomime when I was little but however, this performance was not a pantomime at all it was something different also was created as storytelling with some comedy sketches as well as dancing and singing which seems amazing. Peter Pan was played by Zach Silcok  who was brilliant and I could not keep my eyes off him while he was acting also he is such an incredible actor. I love it where he sat on the floor in front of the audience and got the audience involved by asking them to repeat after him while Tinkerbell was dying "I believe in fairy" and it got repeated around 3 times which was really thoughtful and brought some cheer. I also enjoyed watching Pet...

It's a musical that I haven't seen before and can I just say I was very impressed with the top-quality performance. It was an absolutely amazing show. What a great opening to the show with a song called "Oh The Thinks You Can Think" which made me smile. Having all the cast come on stage was wonderful! Louis Barnes - Cupit   plays The Cat. He is one of the most amazing actors I have ever seen. He kept me smiling throughout the show, He also played The Grinch too. This show was full of non-stop singing as well as dancing. The vocals from the children and adults were very strong and it sounded like I was watching a West End Musical in London The children and adults made my heart melt especially every time the young kids danced. I heard the audience's reactions "aww that is so cute". There was a good use...
